If your bank isn’t supporting name changes through an internal fund, we’ve created a template to help you ask them to get involved.
A few other organisations who support name changes through grants:
-Kiwibank, offers financial support for legal name changes to their customers, please reach out to their customer service line: 0800 113 355
- Westpac NZ, offers specialised care and may be able to help with the costs, request details
- Naming NZ (part of Rainbow Youth), this grant is for youth in the Greater Wellington area
- AUT, offers financial support for legal name changes for students
- University of Auckland, offers financial support for legal name changes for students
