Asher is a young non-binary activist with a love for science and the arts. They attended Albany Senior High School where they created and carried out a national campaign to fight for the rights of young gender diverse students. They petitioned the government to provide funding to all schools for the construction of gender neutral bathrooms. They carried the campaign on for 2 years, partnering with InsideOUT along the way, as well as gaining support from MPs Shannan Halbert, Chloe Swarbrick, and Dr Elizabeth Kerekere. The petition Asher created gained 1310 signatures before they presented the petition at parliament.

Will is a 17-year-old trans man from Auckland. In his final years at school, he has both led his high school’s Queer support group and achieved high academically across many areas. He is passionate about music and the arts, and is a talented writer who gained an award for his essay about gender identity in year 12. Will's experience working in hospitality has also given him a wide range of practical skills and experience. He is independent and driven to achieve his goals.

Peter identifies as pansexual and uses He/Him pronouns. Peter was the first openly queer head student in his schools history and started his school’s first QSA. He has a passion for theatre, film, and reading. He is studying screen production at AUT and wants to use film to tell the stories of those who are often overlooked.
