Rainbow NZ Charitable Trust Withdraws Pride Parade Sponsorship

Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust is pleased to announce that following an inspirational address by the Rt Hon. Helen Clark, introduced by Chris Carter, the Auction made a record $43,000!
This achievement was made possible thanks to the generosity of our key Sponsors KPMG, Southern Cross Healthcare, AUT and Grey Lynn Tyreworx; the many donors large and small; the amazing on stage duo, Auctioneer Michelle Maitland and MC Michele A’Court; and to the 280 plus guests attending who dug deep bidding for items helping raise the needed funds to support the Trust.
The top three items were:
- The Havannah Luxury Resort, Vanuatu, 5 Days and return Airfares on Air Vanuatu
- We Can Do It! express magazine Cover with Helen Clark Artwork
- Turtle Cove Gay Resort, Northern Queensland, 5 nights accommodation
Tertiary Scholarships Announced
As a direct result of the outcome of the auction, the Trust is pleased to announce that it is now opening the 2019 Scholarships and will offer a total of four $3,000 scholarships – two in partnership with AUT and two general scholarships. Information and applications are available here.
