Massey University launches new Rainbow Postgraduate Scholarships in partnership with Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust
Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa Massey University is proud to announce the launch of the Massey University Rainbow Postgraduate Scholarships, created in partnership with the Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust.
Two scholarships, each valued at $4,000, will be awarded to students enrolling in postgraduate study at Massey either working on rainbow-related research or with a demonstrable passion for and commitment to takatāpui and rainbow inclusion. This initiative builds on Massey’s recognition at the 2024 Rainbow Excellence Awards and reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to equity and inclusion.

Massey’s Diversity & Inclusion Advisor Connor McLeod says postgraduate study offers a powerful platform to explore and elevate takatāpui and rainbow-centred research.

The Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust, which has supported Rainbow communities nationwide since 1999, administers the application process for the scholarships.
