Ko Dr Caitlyn Drinkwater ahau, I am a clinical psychologist who is currently working with physical health concerns such as concussion and complex regional pain. I have recently contributed to the mental health section of the Te Whatu Ora guidelines for gender affirming healthcare based on my previous experience in supporting members of the transgender community. I am currently completing a postgraduate diploma in neuropsychology which would enable me to move into a more specialised area of practice, focusing on how brain injuries and neurological conditions affect the thoughts, emotions and behaviour of an individual. With this training I will be able to provide specialised therapeutic support and assessment for people struggling with these conditions.
