Taylor is a young lesbian driven to achieve at the highest levels and created enormous improvement for rainbow students at Rosehill College. She was shoulder-tapped by an LGBTQI+ teacher who identified Taylor’s leadership potential & together they launched the Rosehill Rainbow Group.
Taylor led the group & went on to create their first ever PRIDE Day, became an advocate against conversion therapy & a fundraiser for Rainbow Youth. Taylor’s now studying at AUT towards a BA in Psychology, with a 2nd in Criminology & Criminal Justice. She’s committed to improving lives and interested in joining the Police then going on to a post-grad degree in Clinical Psychology.
Taylor achieved academic excellence at school and is described by teachers as “bold & brave with a great work ethic and a can-do attitude”. She has also achieved greatness on the sports field. Taylor’s passion is soccer and was Captain of the school soccer team. She’s also enjoyed athletics since the age of 4 & recently won Silver at the School Track & Field National Championships.
In her ‘spare time’ at school, in addition to leading the Rosehill Rainbow Group, Taylor was the Sports Committee Leader and a Peer Support student. See Taylor’s personal video here.
