Seb is a 17-year-old bisexual/pansexual trans man living in Palmerston North and has been accepted by Victoria Uni for Software Engineering.
Seb excelled academically at secondary school particularly in calculus, computers & software studies and was accelerated in the Digital Technologies program. This included Media & Computer Science, and Seb’s leadership of the school VEX Robotics Team.
Seb’s also a very talented musician and is active in Concert & Jazz bands as well as the Manuwatu Youth Orchestra. They’re also part of the local theatre company tech crew, managing the special effects & lighting.
While at school Seb also revived the school Gay Straight Alliance group & ran the School Pride Week events for two years.
Not only are Aurecon sponsoring Seb’s engineering Scholarship but also delivering extra support including a dedicated mentor. See Seb’s personal video here.
