Flo is a Tongan, Samoan, Canadian person from South Auckland and they identify as genderqueer. With a particular interest in supporting Pasifika Youth and Rainbow Pasifika Youth, Flo is very passionate about their community, social justice and creating spaces that are safe, supportive and uplifting.
With a range of experiences from starting their high school first diversity group, to being a part of both Otara Papatoetoe Youth Council (TOPs) and PSSP (Peer Sexuality Support Programme); Flo is very dedicated to donating their time and energy to causes they believe in. Flo was also the General Member of the RainbowYOUTH Board from 2020-2021 as well as being active in InsideOUT for many years.
With interests in creative arts, Flo is a celebrated spoken word poet as well as an award-winning musician. With all of Flo’s talent and passion they are devoted to gaining a qualification in Social Work so they can continue to empower and advocate for people within marginalised communities.
