UBIQ bookshop is thrilled to support the Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust’s Scholarship programme and help the next generation of LGBTIQ+ role models and leaders to succeed in their dreams and ambitions at the University of Auckland and AUT.
As part of UBIQ’s focus on empowering students, we are offering up to four Rainbow New Zealand Charitable Trust Scholarship recipients, who attend the University of Auckland or Auckland University of Technology, a $500 award to be spent on books and other resources at our on-campus stores or online at www.ubiq.co.nz.
It is our chance to help Rainbow students make sure their studies get off to the best start with the right textbooks, stationery and other resources. We know that the first year at Uni can be tough and having all the right books makes the transition to tertiary studies that much easier. With UBIQ’s help, it is one less thing to worry about in the first year.
UBIQ is Auckland’s University Bookshop and is passionate about connecting people with books that help them with their journey through all stages of their lives. We are New Zealand’s largest specialist academic book retailer and operate the bookstores on campus at the University of Auckland and Auckland University of Technology. But we are much more than just student textbooks! For over 55 years, UBIQ has been proud to be the source of amazing and insightful books for people of all ages, from many different communities and for businesses throughout Aotearoa.
UBIQ is 100% student-owned. Our primary focus is on providing the next generation of Kiwi’s with books and resources to succeed in their studies and enable them to expand their minds during their time at University. But learning is lifelong, so we also seek to enable everyone to continue their reading journey with books that inspire, amaze, inform and educate, no matter what their interests or where life or career takes them.
UBIQ is a very special bookstore store with an eclectic and curated collection of books, including many you will not find anywhere else! This includes a thriving Rainbow collection of titles that explores all aspects of queer identity. We believe there is a book for every reader at UBIQ.
