The New Zealand Rainbow Excellence Awards Winners Announced

Organisations making an everyday difference for the LGBTI+ community have been recognised at the New Zealand Rainbow Excellence Awards this afternoon. The announcement comes following newly conducted research that proves how vital it is for others to follow in their footsteps.

New Zealand’s inaugural Rainbow Excellence Awards were held at SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre today (17 May 2019), with a sell out crowd of 200 representing more than 30 New Zealand organisations. The awards celebrated workplace leadership, innovation, best practice and collaboration and also mark five years of the Rainbow Tick.

A panel of expert judges from across New Zealand judged the entrants on understanding, values, welcoming sexual and gender diversity and inclusion, and community leadership. We are delighted to announce the winners below.
